Located in the heart of Duluth’s Arts District, the NorShor Theatre wanted a digital presence that reflected its role as a cultural destination. The old site made it difficult to find event details, explore the venue’s amenities, or understand the rich cultural value the theater holds.

We created a design that mirrors the NorShor’s mix of artistry and history by elevating visual storytelling through historical imagery and content that invites users to “experience something at the NorShor.” The site also highlights nearby attractions and trip-planning resources to strengthen its connection to downtown Duluth. We wanted to capture the magical feeling the theater has, even virtually.

The new website celebrates the NorShor as more than a venue, it’s a living piece of Duluth’s art story. The overall experience showcases bringing new productions and new possibilities to the region. Audiences can now journey through the theater’s history, discover performances, and feel inspired to "meet me at the Norshor".
