Alex Bassen

Alex is a graphic designer based in Alexandria, Minnesota. Originally from Central Illinois, she earned her BFA in Graphic Design from Western Illinois University in 2023. Her family’s involvement in hockey and ministry led her to Minnesota, where she’s now happily rooted. With a background in fine arts and experience as an NCAA soccer athlete, Alex brings creativity, discipline, and a deep love for the outdoors into her design work. She began her career designing for a camp and retreat center on Lake Michigan and now works with Šek on the shores of the more ‘Superior’ Great Lake. Alex is passionate about helping brands come to life through designs that are both functional and visually engaging. She finds it especially rewarding to create brand identities that feel timeless and fit a business as naturally as a favorite hoodie. When she’s not behind the screen, you’ll likely find her checking out a new coffee shop, taking her golden retriever to the lake, or adventuring to a new spot on her travel bucket list.
