What do you associate most with childhood?
I associate childhood with summer. Bonfire smoke, cicadas, bare feet in the grass, and ventures to the woods with the neighborhood kids. I wouldn’t change a thing about that little world.
Owen Fossmeyer
Graphic Designer
Owen Fossmeyer joined the Šek team as a Graphic Designer after relocating from Indiana, where he was quickly welcomed by Minnesota snow and the realization that maybe Indiana winters weren’t so bad after all. Drawn to the contrast between city energy and Midwest quiet, Owen is constantly searching for the sweet spot between movement and stillness. He studied at Indiana University Bloomington, graduating with a BA in Media Advertising and a minor in Illustration.
While creating work for himself is always rewarding, Owen finds that stepping into someone else’s world and learning their dynamic is where design requires the most care and engagement. When he’s not designing, Owen enjoys exploring the great outdoors, experimenting in the kitchen, and finding inspiration in the most subtle moments.
