How do you spend your time outside of work?
In my free time, besides creating art, I thoroughly enjoy researching bleeding edge technology, A.I. has been my main fascination (along with the rest of the tech world). Lately it's been LLM video generation and custom model training.
Paul Carlon
Interactive Director
Paul Carlon hails from northern Minnesota and brings over 20 years of diverse design experience to Šek Design Studio. Beginning his career with a model-making degree, Paul started out building prototypes for major clients like Dell, Honda, Motorola, Elmer's Glue, and Scott's Lawn Care. He quickly expanded his expertise to encompass digital design realms, including UI/UX, graphic design, and photography, alongside front-end development.
Paul's career includes significant roles at companies like AOL/Netscape, Nationwide Insurance, and Micro Center along with helping lift several small startups off the ground during his 15 years in Columbus, Ohio. At Šek, he's known for his proficiency with Webflow, helping build websites that are not only beautiful but also easy to manage.
Before joining Šek in early 2023, Paul co-founded Mystic, a chain-agnostic NFT market index, with the original CoinMarketCap team. His approach to design is methodical, blending traditional design principles with modern technology. Paul is involved in various projects at our studio, primarily focusing on enhancing user experiences, developing websites, and other technical heavy lifting that needs to be done.
